As some of you already know, I attended an “Alcohol Inks” workshop last month (pre-quarantine). I was immediately hooked! They are just so much fun, and the end result is different every time! I was over the moon with excitement when I figured out how to make my own alcohol inks from our Pigment Sprinkles! This video is longer than most of my videos but it is PACKED with Alcohol Ink techniques, tricks, and recipes. DIY Alcohol Ink Recipes, DIY Pigment Alcohol Inks with Pigment Sprinkles.Whoo Hoo! Let the games begin!!
The cards below are the ones I created after mixing the Pigment Sprinkles in bottles with alcohol. The results are amazing! I had to fiddle quite a bit with the right alcohol percent, but in the end, I finally got it.
Then I thought of another way to use the Pigment Sprinkles on a non-porous surface and pick up the ink, using kind of a smooching technique. It creates the neatest backgrounds. I’m so addicted to all of these techniques. I’ll show you in the video the stash I’m accumulating!
There is just WAY too much info to tell you in a post, so I made a video for you. It’s much longer than most of my videos but WELL WORTH the time. I mean, common, what else do we have to do right now right? 😋 Let’s get INKIE!!
Phew! Did you make it ALL the way through the video? lol
Question: Do you have Pigment Sprinkles in your stash?
Let me know in the comments below if you are excited to make your own!
I love hearing from you
