We all know someone who LOVES cookies! So let’s make that special someone a Christmas Card FULL of cookies. This makes a perfect Masculine Christmas Card, or Kids Christmas Card too! Let’s make this Stampin Up Cookie Christmas Card!
Stampin Up Cookie Christmas Card
I wanted to use a set I hoped many of you might already have as everyone has been able to order from the 2020-2021 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog (Click to download for free) for a little over a month now. So by using the Nothing’s better Than Bundle, I can show you how versatile it is, and how you can use it for a Cookie Christmas Card. And if you’re like me, you have some supplies that are retired now, so today we can use some of them too!

Stamping Sugar Cookies
I started this card by cutting 8 pieces of Whisper White to 2-1/2 X 1-1/2. Cut and stamp a few extra if you want cookies on the inside fo your card too. I used my Stamparatus to position the bottom cookie layer from the Nothing’s Better Than Cling Stamp Set and stamped the cookie in Sahara Sand ink. But I stamped the cookie once on grid paper before stamping on the Whisper White so it would be lighter and resemble Sugar Cookies. I stamped 2 cookies on each piece of Whisper White by turning the cardstock.

Adding the Cookie Sprinkles & Glitter
The stamp set comes with 2-step stamps for the cookies. You can position the top layer of the cookie perfectly over top of the base of the cookie using your Stamparatus. In the Tutorial Video (below) I show you a positioning trick for the top layer. I used Real Red, Granny Apple Green, and the retired Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powders. These 3 colors matched perfectly 4 (each) of the cookies. This way I had variety and Christmas colors for my card.
TIP: If you do not have the Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder you can make your own embossing powder by mixing up equal parts of Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder, White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and any glitter.
Diecutting & Assembling The Elements
If you got the Nothing’s Better Than BUNDLE then you already have the coordinating Love You More Than Dies. You can use these to cut out all of your cookies, and the word “COOKIES”. For the word “COOKIES” I used the Rainbow Glimmer Cardstock. I chose to use the “Christmas” die from the Word Wishes Dies and die-cut that in the same green scrap I had leftover (From this Birthday Card) from the Rainbow Glimmer Cardstock.

To cut the letters to create the word “MEANS” I used the Playful Alphabet. I cut them out twice so I could glue them together for dimension. I also cut out the word “Christmas” and “Cookies” twice more with Whisper White and then glued them all together. Again, to add dimension. Lastly, I die-cut 3 extra cookies to glue one of each color of my stamped cookies to raise them up a little on my card.
Final Touches
I cut a strip (4-3/8 X 1-1/2) of wood grain paper from the In Good Taste DSP. Then glued it to my card front (5-3/8 X 4-1/8) then trimmed it so size. Using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, I carefully placed it on the card front but not over top of the wood grain DSP. I embossed the brick background. I did use up some Stampin’ Up! Sparkle Glimmer Paper (Retired) and die-cut the label for the words MEANS using a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies. I added the words to the label, placed a fair amount of dimensionals on the back, then glue the “Christmas” sentiment to the top left.

Finally, I glued down all my cookies, and cookie sentiment. Added some Elegant Faceted Gems (the clear ones) for that perfect subtle touch of BLING! I did stamp a few extra cookies, so I placed them on the inside of my card for the last special touch.
