Welcome to Episode 10 of “Let’s CASE it, Let’s MAKE it”! In this series, I show you step-by-step how to recreate cards that inspire you. CASE’ing (Copy & Share Everything) is done by stampers of all skill levels. It’s easy and very satisfying. Let’s get started!
For this week’s card, which I made 2 of, I CASE’ed a card from Page 153 of the Current Annual Catalog. For the card on the left, I used a background I created with the Pigment Sprinkles Alcohol Ink Background. If you missed that tutorial you can watch it here. The card on the right, which is the one I made in this tutorial, I decided to show you how to make it with a blended background. You can decide which background you prefer when you make your card.
I added some extra dimension on this card by putting some dimensional behind the top layer of the Brick & Mortar layer, and on the second card, I decided to adhere it right on top of the mat without added dimensionals. Again, you can decide what you like best. I created a Step-By-Step Video so you can watch and play along. I break all the steps down and show you exactly what I did.
Which card did you prefer? If you have any questions comment below or on my YouTube channel and I will do my best to help you!
Question: Which background will you be doing? Alcohol Inks for Blended?
Let me know in the comments below, I love hearing from you! I also LOVE seeing your cards! Feel free to join my Facebook Group and post ANY card I inspired you to make from my videos.
