Crepe Paper for Cardmaking

$7.00

In stock (can be backordered)

Crepe Paper for Cardmaking is a fun and creative way to add texture and dimension to your papercrafting. The flexibility of the paper allows you to stretch it for less texture or leave it as is for many ‘hills and valleys’ for more texture. Take your die cutting to the next level and use your new DIY Dyed Crepe Paper to cut out leaves, flowers, borders and so much more. Make your cards and papercraft projects pop with texture and dimension. Everyone will wonder how you created those amazing pieces on your cards.

1 piece (5.9 Inches X 4 Feet)

How to use:
To create an excellent effect on your textured Crepe Paper for Cardmaking use it in the same way you would use Sumi Rice Paper.  Lightly tap the paper straight down, then straight up. Do not swipe the Rice Paper like a cleaning towel unless you want a blended background. You can even spray or splatter ink onto the Crepe Paper. If the paper is wet the ink will blend. If the paper is dry the ink will remain on the paper in the way it landed. Some of my favorite backgrounds are created with Tim Holtz Distress Mica Stain. You can use Distress Ink, Distress Oxide Ink, Distress Stain, Distress Paint, or any other inks or watercolors you may have on hand. Painting on crinkled rice paper helps you produce an artsy look.
