Shaker Windows for Cardmaking make creating shaker cards a breeze!

Shaker cards are a popular type of handmade greeting card that features a “shaker” element in which small objects or embellishments are contained within a clear plastic window. These cards are fun and interactive and add a playful element to any occasion. Shaker Windows are the clear plastic sheets used to create the window for the shaker element. Made from a sturdy transparent material, similar to acetate (but much thicker), allowing the contents of the shaker to be visible while keeping them contained within the card. When the card is shaken, the shaker elements move around within the window, creating a fun and eye-catching effect. Shaker card window sheets are a versatile and essential supply for any crafter looking to add an interactive element to their handmade cards.

Directions

Best used with 1/4″ inch double-sided adhesive. Apply the adhesive then remove the protective film. Apply flat embellishments to any card front. Place the Shaker Window adhesive side down on your card front. Fold the flaps so they adhere to the back of the card front. Glue the card front with the shaker window to a card base.
