My Inkie Fingers Spellbinders October 2022 Clubs Glimmer Hot Foil

Spellbinders October 2022 Clubs

The Spellbinders October 2022 Clubs brings you a handful of warm feel-good goodies. If you took (or want to take) advantage of the Glimmer ‘n Cut, The Total Package, or just the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club you will have received this gorgeous Poinsettia arrangement. I chose to foil it with Matte Gold Hot Foil. Then I colored it with Copics to get the perfect blend of soft pinks and greens.
I’ve got plenty of other items from the Total Package Club Membership. It literally includes every single monthly club item for an incredible price. These items will be perfect for all your projects as we move into the holiday season.
The supplies & Copic Marker numbers are listed and linked below.

I have here but a couple of quick cards. The possibilities are endless with this kit. It’s certainly my favorite Spellbinders Card Kit to date. Mind you, I’ve only gotten about 6 or 7 kits. But this one is still my favorite. The colors in the kit are appealing to me as there are so many pinks and teals. I’m not one for traditional Christmas colors and love to fit pink in wherever I can. JOIN CARD KIT KRAFTERS

You might remember this sneak peek that was in the recent Blog Hop I participated in. I got a little excited about the card and almost posted it as part of the hop but then I remembered I had used the October 2022 Small Die Of The Month. It’s got so many awesome words in it that I find myself reaching for it a lot. You’ll see the dies appearing in many of my cards as we move into the holiday season.
I used the September Glimmer Hot Foil Of The Month and cut all the leaves apart. Then it was easy to lay them along the top of the card. I really like the look of this effect. I had some leftover Crimson Star Hot Foil so I used that to foil some scrap cardstock and create a trim there on the top of the card. Great way to use up the leftovers isn’t it?

Foiling Paper For Die Cutting

The Christmas ball is from the Nordic Ornaments Etched Dies. I wasn’t too sure about this set when I first saw it. I didn’t think it was my ‘thing’. But when I foiled some cardstock with the Crimson Star Hot Foil I was really pleased with it. Be sure to pick up any Solid Hot Foil Plate in order to foil on cardstock. That way you can cut, or die-cut pieces from it. Like I did for the ornament on the card. The background, leaves, and silver clasp for the Christmas ball were all foiled with Silver Holographic Facets from the Glimmer Hot Foil Metallic & Holographic Variety Pack. You get 4 fun rolls of Hot Foil to stock up on. I found a piece of silver wire, shaped it like a hook, and hid it behind the leaves. I think it finished the card perfectly. Don’t you?
